Z cyklu muzea morskie/jednostki muzealne ... cz. 3 - WOLTMAN

WOLTMAN (IMO ---, MMSI: 211425130, Sygnał wywoławczy: DJJU, bandera: Niemcy) – holownik parowy zbudowany w 1904 roku przez niemiecką stocznię Braci Sachsenberg w Rosslau nad Łabą na zamówienie Zarządu Portu Hamburg, w szeregach którego miał zastąpić w służbie holownik o tej samej nazwie. Przez większą część swojej kariery, holownik wspomagał jednostki inżynieryjne dbające o stan szlaku wodnego na dolnym odcinku Łaby oraz w jej ujściu. W 1976 roku operujący w ramach Zarządu Żeglugi oraz Dróg Wodnych w Cuxhafen WOLTMAN ze względu na koszty jego użytkowania został wycofany ze służby i wystawiony na sprzedaż. Sprzedany do Holandii, w krótkim czasie kilkakrotnie zmieniał swoich właścicieli. W kwietniu 1984 roku WOLTMAN powrócił do Niemiec, będąc własnością Muzeum Portu Kappeln, które skierowało go na remont do położonej w Hamburgu stoczni Buschamnn & Sohns. Do służby w charakterze pływającej jednostki muzealnej holownik powrócił 12 stycznia 1994 roku. W tym samym roku w celu przywrócenia holownikowi jego stanu z 1904 roku oraz jego dalszego utrzymania zostało zawiązane stowarzyszenie „Forderverain Schleppdampfer Woltman e. V.”. W latach 1997 – 2004 WOLTMAN przeszedł gruntowny remont oraz renowację, po którym otrzymał świadectwo klasyfikacyjne towarzystwa Germanischer Lloyd.

WOLTMAN (IMO ---, MMSI: 211425130, call sign: DJJU, flag: Germany) – a steam tug built in 1904 by the German shipyard Sachsenberg Brothers in Rosslau on the Elbe on the order of the Shipping and Port Deputation Hamburg as a replacement for another tug of the same name. For most of his career the tugboat supported engineering units that take care of the state of the waterway on the lower Elbe and its estuary. In 1976, operating as a part of the Water and Shipping Authority Cuxhavern WOLTMAN, due to the cost of its use, was withdrawn from service and put up for sale. Sold to the Netherlands, where he changed his owners in a short time several times. In April 1984, WOLTMAN returned to Germany, being the property of Museum Harbor Kappeln, which directed him to renovation to the Bushmann & Sohns Shipyard in Hamburg. The tug returned to serve as a floating museum unit on January 12, 1994. In the same year, in order to restore the tug to his state from 1904 and its further maintenance, was established the association „Forderverain Schleppdampfer Woltman e. V.”. In the years 1997 – 2004, WOLTMAN underwent a major refurbishment and renovation, after which he received the classification certificate of the Germanischer Lloyd Society.
